> Location Statuses

Location statuses help you manage the visibility and functionality of your store locations.

Available Statuses

Active

  • Location is fully operational
  • Appears in store locator
  • Available for online order fulfillment (if enabled)
  • Can process BOPIS orders (if enabled)

Inactive

  • Location is temporarily or permanently closed
  • Hidden from store locator
  • Cannot fulfill online orders
  • Cannot process BOPIS orders

Changing Location Status

Individual Locations

  1. Find the location in the table
  2. Click the status toggle
  3. Confirm the status change

Bulk Status Updates

  1. Select multiple locations
  2. Use the bulk actions menu
  3. Choose "Update Status"
  4. Select the new status
  5. Confirm the changes

Status Effects

Active Status

  • Location appears in store locator searches
  • Can be selected for order fulfillment
  • Available for BOPIS orders
  • Included in location exports

Inactive Status

  • Hidden from store locator
  • Excluded from order fulfillment
  • Cannot accept BOPIS orders
  • Still visible in admin for reference

Best Practices

  • Regularly review location statuses
  • Update status promptly for temporary closures
  • Use bulk actions for seasonal changes
  • Consider time zones when scheduling status changes
  • Document status change reasons in notes
