Custom Fields is a premium feature available on paid plans. Visit the subscriptions page for details about available plans.

Custom fields allow you to add additional information to your locations beyond the standard fields provided by Shopify.

Types of Custom Fields

You can create the following types of custom fields:

  • Text (single line)
  • Text Area (multiple lines)
  • Number
  • Date
  • Dropdown (select from predefined options)
  • Checkbox (true/false)
  • URL
  • Email

Creating Custom Fields

To create a new custom field:

  1. Go to Settings > Custom Fields
  2. Click "Add Custom Field"
  3. Choose the field type
  4. Enter a name for the field
  5. Set any additional options (required, default value, etc.)
  6. Click "Save"

Managing Custom Field Values

Once you've created custom fields, you can:

  • Add values when creating new locations
  • Edit values for existing locations
  • Use custom fields in filters and sorting
  • Include custom fields in bulk updates
  • Export custom field data

Best Practices

  • Choose descriptive names for your custom fields
  • Use consistent naming conventions
  • Consider whether fields should be required
  • Group related fields together
  • Limit the number of custom fields to maintain usability
